波蘭鋼琴家彭理斯畢業於波蘭華沙蕭邦音樂學院，師從珍•艾克爾（Jan Ekier）。他曾獲得五個重要的國際鋼琴比賽獎項，分別為索菲亞（1968年），墨尼黑（1969年），華沙（1970），Pleven (1971)，及Bordeaux（1972年）。直到在1970年第八屆蕭邦國際鋼琴比賽中獲得銅獎之後，他演奏的足跡已經達遍了世界五大洲。

One of the most outstanding Polish Pianists and Professors, laureate of five international piano competitions. He completed his piano studies at the Frederick Chopin Music University in Warsaw in the class of prof. Jan Ekier.
The opportunity of having artistic contact with Arthur Rubinstein and Witold Lutoslawski also had a huge impact on the final development of his artistic personality.
A success achieved at the 8th Frederick Chopin International Competition opened to Piotr Paleczny the doors of many prestigious world concert halls. Receiving the Third Prize, the Special Prize for the best performance of a Polonaise and the Witold Małcużyński Prize initiated his career, which the artist has enjoyed constantly until now performing concerts on all continents.
He performed as a soloist with such prominent orchestras as the Warsaw National Philharmonic, the Polish Radio National Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony, the American Symphony, Concertgebouw, the Royal Philharmonic, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon, Gewandhaus, Tonhalle Orchester Zürich, RAI, Santa Cecilia, Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Mexico, Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Argentina and Orquesta Nacional de España.
He gave concerts in distinguished concert halls including the Carnegie Hall, the Alice Tully Hall and the UN General Assembly Hall in New York, the Orchestra Hall in Chicago, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Berliner Philharmonie, Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Royal Festival Hall in London and Festspielhaus in Salzburg.

Prima Vista Quartet
Prima Vista String Quartet is one of leading chamber ensembles in Poland. It is Prima Vista String Quartet is among Poland's leading chamber ensembles. It is made up of musicians of the Polish Chamber Orchestra Sinfonia Varsovia.
Its repertoire includes a wide selection of string quartets by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Dvorák, Borodin and Szymanowski. The group is also keen on performing salon music of the 19th and 20th centuries. It has given concerts at numerous venues in Warsaw, including the Royal Castle, the National Philharmonic Hall, the Łazienki Park, the Zachęta Gallery, the Witold Lutosławski Polish Radio Concert Hall and the Belvedere Palace. It has performed at the Festival of the Stars in Międzyzdroje, the Chamber Music Festival in Wrocław, the International Chopin Festival in Duszniki-Zdrój, and the Music Festival in Łańcut.
Foreign tours have taken it to Germany, Switzerland, France, Hungary, Ukraine, Slovakia, Slovenia, Latvia, Italy, Greece, Monte Negro, Canada, the United States, Japan, South Korea, North Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.
The repertoire of Prima Vista includes chamber versions of Chopin Piano Concertos (performed with leading Polish pianists Ewa Pobłocka, Krzysztof Jabłoński, Janusz Olejniczak and Piotr Paleczny) and of Vivaldi The Four Seasons with Konstanty Andrzej Kulka and Jan Stanienda.
Members of the Prima Vista Quartet are also highly respected as studio musicians. They have taken part in the recording of film music by Zbigniew Preisner and Krzesimir Dębski, and of numerous CDs by outstanding jazzmen, such as Henryk Miśkiewicz, Zbigniew Namysłowski and Piotr Herdzin and popular stars including Edyta Górniak, Anna Maria Jopek, Grzegorz Turnau, Tytus Wojnowicz and Michał Bajor.
Prima Vista's discography includes fifteen CDs for DUX, Polish Radio and Winther & Winther. Seven of them have been nominated for the prestigious Fryderyk Award of the Polish recording industry, and three have won the Awards: the chamber version of Chopin Piano Concertos with Piotr Paleczny and Vivaldi The Four Seasons with Konstanty Andrzej Kulka (Fryderyk 1999) and the chamber version of Bach piano concertos with Waldemar Malicki and Tamara Granat (Fryderyk 2000). Two CDs (The Four Seasons and Chopin Concerto in E minor) have won the Platinum title.
In December 2006 Prima Vista have recorded the 15th CD with three string quartets by Juan Crisostomo de Arriaga.
